The folks at MIT’s Engine asked us to develop this fantastic design for their 2019-2020 report, which aims to look back on the progress their portfolio has made tackling climate change, developing breakthroughs for human health, and creating advanced systems and infrastructure.
It was an absolute delight to build this for the Engine and we’re extremely happy with how the animations and UN Sustainable Development Goals tables came out.

We were incredibly fortunate to be trusted with the redesign of the Marin Bikes website; we poured our hearts and souls into this project and went deep on the design, the user experience, the attention to accessibility, and the back-end management features (via Craft CMS).
The new website is ready for anything:
We’re extremely proud of the revamped Cerulli Associates website, built with Craft CMS and Tailwind CSS.
It utilizes a modular design system that makes it super-easy for staff to build unique pages based on a variety of custom-made modules, each with their own configuration options.
The folks at Edge Embossing needed an online ordering system with custom administrative tools that enable staff to track an order’s progress throughout the manufacturing process and automatically send customer emails at specific times.
First, we created a beautiful order form that presents all options in a way that’s easy to understand, compare, and learn more detailed information about.
Then we utilized Laravel Nova to build the custom administrative tools needed to supply staff with the status, data-points, and reports they need to run efficiently.
We created a modern, professional website for Sunstein Kann Murphy & Timbers LLP, Boston’s premier intellectual property firm.
Behind the attractive new design is an easy to use content management system, built on Craft CMS, that enables staff to edit the website’s content; more specifically, the CMS makes it easy to manage their large archive of publications and, on the visitor’s side, that archive can be filtered and searched through to easily find a specific publication.
In yet another wonderful partnership with the design team at PEM, we built the gorgeous, mobile-friendly pem.org on top of a completely modular design system (managed by Craft CMS) that allows staff to create nearly any type of page they’d like, any time they’d like.
Be sure to spend some time poking around—the new pem.org features some very beautiful video and photography throughout all of its pages.

Working with The Outfit was a seamless experience from start to finish. We had a complex project with a tight timeline. They listened to our ideas and feedback, as well as contributed their own ideas, and it felt like we were all part of the same team working toward getting a successful project that was completed on schedule. Their designs are innovative and their team has earned our trust. The folks at The Outfit are true professionals in every way.
We have been a client of The Outfit for nearly ten years. They are fantastic at front and back end design and development, but more importantly, they are a pleasure to work with. From project start to completion, The Outfit crew are awesome partners — high quality work, easy to communicate with, no muss no fuss.
We are repeat customers of The Outfit as they have been a great team to rely on for product-critical launches. From the Evernote App Center to top business partner integrations, we are grateful for their front end, DevOps, and workflow strategy execution.
I’ve been a Marketing EVP at a $2.5 billion technology company and the CMO at a consumer-focused, venture-backed start-up and everything in between. I’ve owned a PR and social media agency for the last 13 years. I have worked with 100+ agencies and can say that The Outfit is absolutely, unequivocally the best agency I have ever encountered in my entire career.
We’ve teamed up with the The Outfit on three projects and we’ve won two National Museum Technology awards as a result. That is a pretty good batting average.
The Outfit have been an extension of our marketing team for many years, driving several website redesigns and acting as our digital partner, design resource, technical advisor, and general sounding board for building the tools and resources we dream up to drive our business.
Talented, professional, responsive, fun. Yes, you can work with people like that. They are at The Outfit.
A true development partner not only brings the smarts, but also the heart, to a project. The team at The Outfit has lead well over 20 jobs for me and my clients and they have never let me down.
We’re a small group of people who love turning complex challenges into enjoyable online experiences.
From websites on tiny devices to scaling complex architecture in the cloud, we’ve got you covered.
