We are very excited to announce that NavEE is now available for ExpressionEngine 3. NavEE 3 has been rewritten from the ground up with all of the features you've come to expect, such as:

Hey, Whoa, It Looks Different

Right you are! One of the wonderful improvements EllisLab has made in the ExpressionEngine world is creating a full UI Style Guide. This time around we’ve chosen to follow the visual language set forth by the CMS which we think will create a more consistent experience for everyone.

It’s Not $35 Anymore

Right again! Back in October of 2014, devot:ee increased their sales-cut on add-ons sold through their store. At that time, most developers increased their prices. We did not, because at that time NavEE had been stable for quite a while, and we knew EE3 couldn’t be too far off.

Well, since we’ve rewritten the entire thing, we figured it was time to finally increase the price to help cover our investment as well as defer the ongoing cost of support. NavEE is at once incredibly simple to use and very sophisticated if the nav you are trying to build has complex HTML. For those complex scenarios, we try our very best to accommodate all support requests in a timely manner.

Going forward, we plan to sell NavEE directly (here at fromtheoutfit.com) for $50, and on devot:ee for $60. Until we get our act together and set up a checkout process on our end, we’ll sell NavEE 3 for $50 on devot:ee as well.

But I Just Bought NavEE 2

Yeah, that didn’t seem fair to us either. So, if you’ve purchased NavEE in the last 6 months (after July 20, 2015) and are planning to upgrade the site you are using that license on to ExpressionEngine 3, please contact us and we’ll get you a NavEE 3 license.

Let Us Know What You Think

As always, we’d love to hear from you! Please feel free to contact us with any issues you encounter or suggestions for how to improve NavEE 3 at our support site.
